Yixian International Rural Tourism Resort is located in Yixian county, which is known as a "Village in a Chinese Painting" and a "Family Dwelling in Taohuayuan" (Taohuayuan is a Chinese Utopia where people live in seclusion and happiness because they are free from worries of the outside world). This resort is a centralized display and presentation area of Huizhou culture. Spanning approximately 35 square kilometers, it is embraced by the Mukeng Bamboo Sea from the east, Xiuli village from the west, Huangshan Banyan Tree Hotel from the north, and Zhanghe Riverside Park from the south.

The resort has a good natural ecological environment and a profound Huizhou culture. It fully embodies the characteristics of Misty Rain Huizhou, Pastoral Huizhou and Village Huizhou.
