Shenzhen exhibition dives into Ming Dynasty princely states from Hubei

During the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the emperors bestowed titles on their sons, creating a network of princely states to protect the imperial family. In Hubei region only, 12 princes established their courts and residences, leaving a lasting legacy.
The Shenzhen Museum is holding an exhibition dedicated to the history and culture of these Ming Dynasty princely states in Hubei. Featuring 250 exquisite artifacts, the exhibition delves into the material life and spiritual pursuits of the princes, as well as the evolution and impact of the Ming princely system.
