As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, the National Museum of China has released a new zongzi gift box, inspired by a Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) painting from its collection, Dragon Boat Race at Jinming Lake. The painting vividly depicts the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127) emperor watching sailors’ performances and dragon boat races at Jinming Lake.
