This work not only conveys respect for life, and a longing for a better life, but also helps more audiences understand the history and legacy of the Ulan Muqir.
Meaning "red bud" in Mongolian, Ulan Muqir is an art troupe that travels from one site to another, performing for herdsmen who live in some of China's most remote areas.
