The cultural creative design and tourism promotion of Gulinjing Tea Horse Road

These illustrations depict the Gulinjing township in Maguan county, Yunnan province. The township is home to many ethnic groups, each living prosperous and peaceful lives. Here, there are beautiful pristine forests, the ancient Tea Horse Road, waterfalls, and the sea of clouds; there are specialties like Sanqi (Panax notoginseng), Cao guo (Amomum tsao-ko), and ancient tree tea; there are also delicacies like medicinal hotpot and flower rice, not to mention intangible cultural heritages like the Miao bamboo flute dance and the Zhuang handkerchief dance.

The illustrations vividly present the unity and friendship of the residents on the border of China, their exchanges and prosperity and rich tourism resources, and their colorful ethnic cultures, which serve as an international bridge for China. It is hoped that through the illustrations, more tourists will be attracted, and more people will come to know the beauty of Yunnan on the border.
