Get ready to embark on a journey through time at the special exhibition “Portraits from the Ming and Qing Dynasties”, set to open at the Suzhou Museum West. Court portraits of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) Yongzheng Emperor (r. 1723-35) and his empresses, as well as portraits of Suzhou’s esteemed scholars, nobility and accomplished women, will be on show.
Unravel the splendor and diversity of life during the 14th and 19th centuries through these vivid portraits!
