Tan Jiancheng (1898-1995), a painter from Huzhou, Zhejiang, captures the beauty of his hometown through his brushstrokes, showcasing a profound yearning for his roots.

The Feiying Pagoda, an ancient tower dating back to the Tang (618-907) and Song (960-1279) dynasties, stands majestically in the urban area of Huzhou. Composed of an internal stone tower and an external tower constructed by bricks and wood, the pagoda is surrounded by ancient locust trees and adorned with a flowing stream and a small bridge, creating a picturesque scene. Does your hometown also have such ancient pagodas?
