Pingliang, located in the eastern part of Gansu province, has been an essential place for transmission of Buddhist art from west to east.

Embark on an extraordinary journey of Pingliang’s captivating Buddhist statue art in an ongoing exhibition at the Tianjin Museum! More than 100 stunning bronze Buddhist statues, spanning from the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) to the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), are on display.
