The drama Red Poppies made its debut at the Chongqing Guotai Art Center on Nov 17. Adapted from the award-winning novel by renowned author A Lai, it tells the legendary tale of the decline of the chieftain system, through the perspective of a prophetic "fool" from the Gyalrong Tibetan tribe.
