Editor's note:This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. Over the past decade, China's courts have accelerated efforts to modernize the country's judicial system and continuously deepened judicial exchanges and cooperation with countries involved in the BRl, providing legal services and support for the high-quality development of the Belt and Road.
The 2023 Maritime Silk Road (Quanzhou) International Forum on Judicial Cooperation, held in East China's Fujian province from Oct 25 to 26, focused on promoting high-quality judicial cooperation to foster a sound law-based environment for Belt and Road cooperation. Here are some highlights of the forum as well as of the progress of judicial exchanges and cooperation related to the Belt and Road in the past decade.
