Chinese calligraphy, an artistic expression of Chinese characters with an evolution spanning thousands of years, stands out distinctly within the global treasury of cultural and artistic heritages.

The Tianjin Museum boasts an extensive collection of calligraphy works from different periods, with particular emphasis on the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) eras, which are now exhibited at the museum. A total of 73 calligraphy masterpieces illustrate the development of this art during the two dynasties. Don’t miss out!
