The Palace Museum in Beijing boasts an extensive treasury of courtly woodblocks, furnishing compelling material evidence for the historical research of China’s classical literature, printing and courts.

On Oct 31, the Palace Museum unveiled its inaugural exhibition of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) courtly woodblocks, accompanied by the opening of the Woodblock Hall near the Gate of Supreme Harmony (Taihe men). More than 15,000 woodblocks are on warehouse-style display, with 32 pieces highlighted. Embark on viewing this exceptional exhibition!
