On the evening of Oct 22, the 13th Yunnan Ethnic Folk Music and Dance Exhibition kicked off in Mangshi city, Dehong Dai and Jingpo autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province. Over the next four days, more than 1,000 curators of intangible cultural heritage, folk artists, and grassroots cultural workers from over 20 ethnic groups in 16 cities and prefectures across Yunnan, compete for the “Yunnan Ethnic Folk Music and Dance Exhibition Award”.
