2023 Ningbo Intl Tourism Exhibition to open

The 2023 Ningbo International Tourism Exhibition will take place at the Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center from Oct 13 to 15.

This year's exhibition will feature 800 booths spread across an exhibition space of 16,000 square meters, according to the organizers.

In a first for the event, sections dedicated to sports products and animation works will be included, alongside displays of vintage vehicles.

A recent survey conducted by the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Sports revealed that in 2022, the total expenditure on sports by Ningbo residents reached 29.15 billion yuan ($3.99 billion), a 4.62 billion yuan increase over the previous year. The average individual spending on sports stood at 3,030.87 yuan.

Since its establishment in 2014, the Ningbo International Tourism Exhibition has grown to become one of the most influential tourism exhibitions in China. It serves as an essential platform for enhancing the city's tourism industry, stimulating tourism spending, and facilitating industrial exchanges.
