At the Liao Dynasty (916-1125) Shangjing ruins in Lindong town, Baarin Left Banner of Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, a group of large architectural remains was discovered in the south of its imperial city in July.
Through excavation, it has been found that the corridor sections are relatively well-preserved, while the central hall suffered severe damage during the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234). The structure of the Liao Dynasty architectural foundations will be confirmed after clearing the destructed layers. The finds will enrich the archaeology of the Shangjing ruins.
