M3027 is the third Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) tomb in the north of Taosi village in Xiangfen county, Linfen city, Shanxi province, whose archaeological finds have been illustrated in a recent report. The skeleton of its owner has decayed into powder, and two pieces of jade debris were found beneath where the head would have been.

A total of 43 burial items has been excavated from the tomb, the most of the three tombs excavated so far, and included 14 bronze pieces, one lead ware, one jade ware, four pieces of bone ware, 20 pieces of stone gui (a kind of sacrificial object), and three pieces of pottery. They provide valuable materials for research on bronze ware patterns and lives of the period.
