Produced by the Beijing People’s Art Theater, the drama Old-Fashioned Comedy will be staged at the Shanghai Grand Theater from Oct 20-22. Written by Aleksei Arbuzov (1908-86), it depicts two elderly souls finding comedic romance by the seaside. This play delicately portrays their post-World War II experiences, revealing the brilliance of human nature amidst everyday life.
