On Aug 22, the Henan Museum inaugurated an exhibition, featuring a remarkable bronze ding (cooker) adorned with coiled serpent patterns. It was unearthed from the tomb of the king of Zheng State, in the late Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC), in Xinzheng, Zhengzhou, Henan province, 1923. It later became one of the founding pieces of the Henan Museum, established just four years later in 1927. This exhibition commemorates the centennial anniversary of the tomb’s discovery. Don’t miss out!
