Visitors wish 2 pandas in Hainan a happy birthday

Hainan Tropical Wildlife Park and Botanical Garden, the first national large tropical wildlife and botanical-themed garden, celebrated the 10th birthday of two giant pandas on Sunday — Gonggong and Shunshun.

At 9:30 am, visitors and panda fans gathered around the birthday cake at the visitor's center and sang the birthday song.

The garden's chairman, Shang Xiao expressed gratitude to the pandas' fans and supporters from around the world, promising that the garden will make great efforts to enhance the bears' living conditions.
