Exhibition shows portraits of mothers

Drawing For Mom, an exhibition at the Taicang Art Museum in Taicang, Jiangsu province, features 97 paintings focusing on the subject of mothers.
The show's curator Liu Chang says that they have collected works from artists since this year's Mother's Day in May. All together, they selected works from 80 painters to display at the exhibition. Some works on show portray the painters' mothers, either young or in later life. Some depict their wives — mothers of their children. Others draw flowers, write calligraphy works or just use words to express their feelings for mothers.
