Theater hosts a monster event for kids

Monsters in the Forbidden City, a popular series of children plays, will be a resident show at the theater of the International Convention and Exhibition Center of Shunyi district in Beijing.

The show will be staged during the summer vacation, from July 6 to 16 and from Aug 2 to 18.

Debuting in 2019, so far, two shows combining music, dance and drama, have been produced by Beijing Artists Management Corporation. The shows are set against the backdrop of the Forbidden City, known as the Palace Museum, in Beijing, providing children with knowledge of the 600-year-old royal palace.

It also marks the launch of the new performing arts space at the theater of the International Convention and Exhibition Center of Shunyi district, which will bring theatrical productions for children this summer.
