As part of its reform measures, the CPC Shennongjia Forest District (county-level) committee, responsible for the area's development, has merged the administrative departments of the Shennongjia National Nature Reserve and the Dajiu Lake National Wetland Park, so as to facilitate the implementation of coordinated plans.
