On May 18, one of the iconic characters from the Shennongjia mascot family - " Little Shennong Wildman" - officially made its debut. The "Little Shennong Wildman" character mascot is based on the image of the "Shennongjia Wildman" from the legend that originated from the UNESCO world heritage of Shennongjia in China’s Hubei province. It incorporates many of its regional elements.
"The Legend of the Wildman" was recognized as the fifth group of representative intangible cultural heritage projects in Hubei province in 2016.
