Since its first exhibit at the Zhang Leping Memorial Hall in Haiyan county, Zhejiang province, on April 15, the project has garnered widespread attention from many domestic illustrators and enthusiasts.

During the opening ceremony of the Weihai exhibition, curators Wang Lijun and Long Niannan donated a collection of picture books with stories set in Weihai to the Weihai Museum. The collection includes Homecoming, Looking for Mom, Seaside Cottage, and Lord Liu Pacifying the Sea, all created by renowned picture book authors and published by Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing Group.
