Ganzhou district experiences tourism surge during Labor Day holiday

Following the commencement of the 11th edition of the Dunhuang Tour Silk Road International Tourism Festival in Northwest China's Gansu province on April 26, Zhangye's Ganzhou district experienced a tourism boom during the Labor Day holiday. [Photo provided to China Daily]

During the five-day holiday, Zhangye National Desert Park received 15,400 visitors and generated tourism revenue of 652,800 yuan.

Additionally, performances of folk arts and local intangible cultural heritage were also staged in tourism attractions across Ganzhou to attract visitors during the holidays.
