The latest archaeological finds of 2022 comprehensively present the settlement spheres, core zone layout and city gate structure of the Bicun site in Xingxian county, Lyuliang city, Shanxi province, covering an area of 6,000 square meters. The site, dating from 2,200 BC to 1,700 BC, underwent a process from prosperity to decline. A batch of pottery, bone ware, jade and stone ware has been unearthed from the site. The east gate of the outer city is a relatively complete prehistoric gate with the most complicated structure and most regular form, providing important materials for restoring the city gate structure at that time.
