Spring weather brings birds to Guangyuan

As temperatures rise, flocks of herons return to Jialing River in Jiange county, Guangyuan, Sichuan province, building nests in the cypress trees by the river.

They can be found in groups of three or five, frolicking and dancing in the trees, transforming the riverside into a beautiful and harmonious landscape.

In recent years, Jiange county has strengthened its protection of rivers and lakes. With improved water quality, aquatic animals and plants are thriving in the area.
