Produced by the Hubei Song and Dance Theater, the opera King Zhuang of Chu was in rehearsal at the Luojiashan Theater in Wuhan, Hubei province, on Feb 21. The production centers on King Zhuang of Chu, who was a monarch of the Zhou Dynasty State of Chu during the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC).
