On Jan 2, the China Grand Canal Museum in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, unveiled an exhibit reviewing Qing Dynasty Yangzhou-school paintings. Nearly 90 paintings created by 40 artists who were based in Yangzhou during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and contributed to the prosperity of the local painting school, including the famed Eight Eccentrics, provide visitors with an artistic feast. The exhibit will run through Mar 31.
