Suzhou Creek cruise tours launched

The cruise tours on Shanghai's Suzhou Creek were officially launched on Thursday following three months of trials.

Ten cruise boats powered by electricity will travel between four piers - Bund-Waitanyuan, Sihang Warehouse, Changhua Road, and Changfeng Park - during the tours. Ticket prices range from 60 to 100 yuan per adult. Four more piers are currently under construction.

Suzhou Creek has always played an important role in Shanghai's development. Following the comprehensive treatment of the creek's water quality, the 42-kilometer riverside of Suzhou Creek has been upgraded and now features greenways and historic architecture.
