West Lake is a famous cultural area in Hangzhou, East China’s Zhejiang province. The Zhejiang Provincial Museum kicked off an exhibit of rubbings featuring inscriptions carved on the mountain cliffs around West Lake on Dec 15 at its West Lake Gallery. A total of 208 works dating from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) to modern times are on display. The exhibit will run through Mar 12, 2023.
