On Nov 26, 2,043 patients were released from hospital after being cured (57 imported cases; 1,986 indigenous cases, 936 in Guangdong province, 222 in Chongqing municipality, 216 in Beijing municipality, 112 in Sichuan province, 86 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 83 in Henan province, 56 in Shanxi province, 55 in Yunnan province, 49 in Hunan province, 34 in Shaanxi province, 32 in Jiangsu province, 14 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 13 in Hebei province, 12 in Guizhou province, 10 in Liaoning province, 10 in Heilongjiang province, 8 in Tianjin municipality, 8 in Shandong province, 7 in Fujian province, 7 in Qinghai province, 6 in Gansu province, 3 in Zhejiang province, 3 in Hubei province, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 1 in Anhui province, and 1 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region). 178,073 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. As of 24:00 on Nov 26, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 27,357 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 26,593 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 764 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 26, the National Health Commission had received reports of 307,802 confirmed cases and 5,233 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 271,159 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 31,410 confirmed cases (including 111 cases in serious condition) and 2 suspected cases. 11,773,650 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 1,768,321 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on Nov 26, 8,710,653 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 455,433 in Hong Kong (10,672 had died and 97,988 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 797 in Macao (6 had died and 789 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 8,254,423 in Taiwan (14,210 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
