On Nov 25, 1,893 patients were released from hospital after being cured (44 imported cases; 1,849 indigenous cases, 823 in Guangdong province, 263 in Chongqing municipality, 235 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 117 in Beijing municipality, 78 in Henan province, 78 in Sichuan province, 54 in Shanxi province, 33 in Yunnan province, 30 in Shaanxi province, 19 in Zhejiang province, 15 in Guizhou province, 13 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 12 in Jiangsu province, 11 in Heilongjiang province, 11 in Fujian province, 10 in Gansu province, 8 in Anhui province, 7 in Shandong province, 7 in Hunan province, 6 in Hebei province, 4 in Shanghai municipality, 4 in Hubei province, 3 in Tibet autonomous region, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Jiangxi province, 2 in Qinghai province, 1 in Liaoning province and 1 in Hainan province). 172,634 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. As of 24:00 on Nov 25, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 27,296 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 26,536 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 760 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and 4 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Nov 25, the National Health Commission had received reports of 304,093 confirmed cases and 5,232 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 269,116 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 29,745 confirmed cases (including 112 cases in serious condition) and 6 suspected cases. 11,472,149 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 1,647,782 were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on Nov 25, 8,696,499 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 454,525 in Hong Kong (10,663 had died and 97,639 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 796 in Macao (6 had died and 789 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 8,241,178 in Taiwan (14,181 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
