Autumn is golden, and farmers in Zhaohua district, Guangyuan, Sichuan province, are reaping a rich harvest of persimmons.
Ripe persimmons hang from the branches of more than 2,000 trees, gracing the Niutou Mountains with the glowing lantern-like fruits. The century-old persimmon trees complement the traditional villages under the blue mountain, creating chocolate box scenery.
"I came to Niutou Mountain from Chengdu to photograph the beautiful persimmons here," said a tourist surnamed Cheng.
