Beijing reported 13 COVID-19 infections by 3 pm on Sunday, two of which were detected from community level, indicating that there still existed hidden transmission sources among the masses, according to the Beijing Center of Disease Prevention and Control on Sunday afternoon.

Different public sites are required to strictly carry out related prevention and control measures, including checking temperatures and a green health code for entering public places, the notice said.

As of Sunday, the city had reported 27 infections related to a shopping mall in Cangzhou, Hebei province, involving seven districts and several shopping malls or business shops, reported by Beijing Daily.

Universal Beijing Resort, which was temporarily closed due to epidemic control requirements on Wednesday, announced on Sunday evening that it will resume operation starting on Monday after a deep disinfection.

Tongzhou district, where the resort is located, reported new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. The resort was included on the list of places the infected people had been to, according to the district.
