On Oct 13, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 313 new cases of confirmed infections (64 imported cases, 22 in Fujian province, 15 in Guangdong province, 7 in Shanghai municipality, 5 in Jiangsu province, 4 in Sichuan province, 2 in Beijing municipality, 2 in Tianjin municipality, 2 in Liaoning province, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Chongqing municipality and 1 in Shandong province, including 4 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 2 in Jiangsu province and 2 in Zhejiang province; 249 indigenous cases, 56 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 53 in Guangdong province, 28 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 19 in Liaoning province, 16 in Beijing municipality, 11 in Shanxi province, 11 in Heilongjiang province, 11 in Chongqing municipality, 10 in Sichuan province, 8 in Henan province, 8 in Yunnan province, 4 in Jiangsu province, 4 in Zhejiang province, 4 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 2 in Shanghai municipality, 2 in Shandong province and 2 in Shaanxi province, including 41 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 13 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 13 in Guangdong province, 3 in Beijing municipality, 3 in Liaoning province, 3 in Sichuan province, 2 in Chongqing municipality, 1 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Henan province, 1 in Shaanxi province and 1 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region), no deaths, and no new cases of suspected infections.

On Oct 13, 254 patients were released from hospital after being cured (50 imported cases; 204 indigenous cases, 78 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 41 in Sichuan province, 21 in Guizhou province, 18 in Guangdong province, 7 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 5 in Hunan province, 4 in Tianjin municipality, 4 in Shanxi province, 4 in Yunnan province, 3 in Beijing municipality, 3 in Shandong province, 3 in Chongqing municipality, 3 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 2 in Heilongjiang province, 2 in Jiangsu province, 2 in Zhejiang province, 2 in Fujian province, 1 in Liaoning province and 1 in Shaanxi province). 43,055 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 3.

As of 24:00 on Oct 13, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 24,882 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 24,250 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 632 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on Oct 13, the National Health Commission had received reports of 255,168 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 245,486 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 4,456 confirmed cases (including 16 cases in serious condition) and no suspected cases. 6,606,769 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 395,576 were still under medical observation.

On Oct 13, 519 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (93 imported cases; 426 indigenous cases, 91 in Guizhou province, 66 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 45 in Ningxia Hui autonomous region, 34 in Sichuan province, 29 in Heilongjiang province, 28 in Tianjin municipality, 19 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 16 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 12 in Tibet autonomous region, 11 in Yunnan province, 11 in Gansu province, 8 in Shaanxi province, 7 in Guangdong province, 6 in Hubei province, 5 in Hebei province, 5 in Jiangsu province, 5 in Shandong province, 4 in Liaoning province, 4 in Shanghai municipality, 4 in Zhejiang province, 3 in Jiangxi province, 3 in Henan province, 2 in Shanxi province, 2 in Anhui province, 2 in Hunan province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Jilin province, 1 in Hainan province and 1 in Chongqing municipality). 45 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 4 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Oct 13, 14,924 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 926 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on Oct 13, 7,473,875 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 422,332 in Hong Kong (10,254 had died and 87,575 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 793 in Macao (6 had died and 787 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 7,050,750 in Taiwan (11,686 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
