Three years into the COVID-19 pandemic, many people are exhausted, which is why some echo the claim that "the pandemic is over" and call for "coexistence" with the virus.

Do not be misled. The omicron variant can still be deadly.

Don't forget how many people have died in the West, and how the seemingly strong US medical system almost collapsed.

Those claiming "the pandemic is over" are being irresponsible.
