"I had seen first-hand the valuable support that the fair provided before, and being a judge was a way to support the ambitions of young people who want to improve the world," said Kenneth Jarrett, a senior advisor at Dentons Global Advisors, who was one of the finals judges.

What impressed Jarrett was the finalists' enthusiasm, professionalism and thoughtfulness, as the proposals were innovative and offered solutions to a range of sustainability goals.

"Our mentor from L'Oreal passed on many lessons to us, and the suggestions and opportunities that the competition gave us are very important," said winning participant , Mugabe Rufaro Joshua from Zimbabwe who joined hand with his friend Sydorchenko Valeriia from Ukraine with their ideas for Lark Oral Care, which provides natural oral care products.

The fair also featured seminars and panel discussions with speakers from leading companies and industries discussing how various industries are achieving sustainable development goals, covering topics such as corporate sustainability projects and practices, as well as the implementation of educational institutions' sustainability projects.
