Autumn scenery dazzles at Hebei's Qixing Lake

Early autumn has brought picturesque scenery to the wetlands of Qixing Lake in Saihanba State Forest Park, located in Chengde, Hebei province.

About 400 kilometers north of Beijing, the Qixing Lake wetland (also known as Seven-Star Lake wetland) consists of seven natural lakes of different sizes and shapes — like a constellation of stars, according to Hebei Daily.

In addition to the lakes are forests, meadows and marshes in the wetland. The area, which is surrounded by mountains, is also home to more than 130 plant species.
