Haval, Great Wall Motors’ most popular marque, presented on Friday the H6 DHT and the H-Dog models at the ongoing Chengdu auto show.

Last week, Haval announced its electrification plan in Beijing, saying that it will stop sales of conventional gasoline vehicles by 2030.

Li Xiaorui, CEO of Haval, said the marque will shift its position from an SUV expert into an electrified SUV expert.

The H6 DHT is available in both hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions. The plug-in hybrid version can start and run at temperatures between 60 degrees Celsius to minus 40 degrees Celsius.

It has a maximum range of 1,178 km. Haval said it has received over 6,000 orders within three days of its launch in Beijing.

The Haval H-Dog is another plug-in hybrid SUV model. It has a muscular design, with its length reaching 4.7 meters and its wheelbase extending for 2,800 mm.

The model features a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, which coupled with electric motors has a top torque of 530 Nm and a maximum output of 240 kW.
