The original Kunqu Opera work Qu Qiubai was staged at the Wuhan Theater on Aug 9, unveiling its national tour. The production was inspired by the life story of Qu Qiubai (1899-1935), one of the early leaders of the Communist Party of China and great Marxist. It sheds light on Qu’s brave struggle before his sacrifice. Check out the stage photos below!
