Chinese electric vehicle startup Hozon launched its Neta S sports sedan on Sunday, enriching the company’s product lineup. The model is available in eight variants at suggested prices starting from 199,800 yuan ($29,590) to 338,800 yuan.

The sedan is offered in extended-range and pure electric variants, which have range of 1,160 kilometers and 715 km respectively.

Based on the self-developed Shanhai vehicle platform, the car is 4,980 millimeters in length, 1,980 mm in width and 1,450 mm in height. The wheelbase stretches 2,980 mm.

Equipped with an intelligent cockpit called Neta Space, it features a third-generation Snapdragon chip, 17.6 inch central control screen, 12.3 in passenger audio screen and a 13.3 in instrument binnacle.

The sedan offers Neta Pilot 3.0 and 4.0 solutions for drivers, which are both equipped with cameras and lidars, a device that is similar to radar but emits pulsed laser light,to achieve a number of drive-assist functions.

According to official statistics, Neta delivered 63,131 cars in the first half of this year, up 199 percent year-on-year. The figure ranked it second among electric car startups.
