Foreign students try traditional batik in Guizhou

More than 20 foreign students from schools in and beyond Guizhou province visited Danzhai county in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture for a hands-on experience with batik.
The traditional ethnic craft has been passed down through generations in the Miao ethnic group and was placed on the first national intangible cultural heritage list in 2006.
Danzhai county is home to more than 200 intangible cultural heritage items.
