On July 27, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 119 new cases of confirmed infections (33 imported cases, 10 in Guangdong province, 9 in Shanghai municipality, 5 in Fujian province, 2 in Sichuan province, 2 in Shaanxi province, 1 in Liaoning province, 1 in Zhejiang province, 1 in Shandong province, 1 in Henan province and 1 in Yunnan province, including 2 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 1 in Guangdong province and 1 in Sichuan province; 86 indigenous cases, 32 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 23 in Gansu province, 17 in Sichuan province, 7 in Henan province, 4 in Guangdong province and 3 in Shanghai municipality, including 41 confirmed cases converting from asymptomatic cases, 18 in Gansu province, 15 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 7 in Sichuan province and 1 in Henan province), no deaths, and 1 new case of suspected infections (an imported case in Shanghai municipality).

On July 27, 119 patients were released from hospital after being cured (47 imported cases; 72 indigenous cases, 20 in Gansu province, 17 in Guangdong province, 15 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 5 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 4 in Anhui province, 3 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Jiangxi province, 2 in Hainan province, 1 in Beijing municipality, 1 in Jiangsu province and 1 in Sichuan province). 10,208 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases increased by 2.

As of 24:00 on July 27, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 20,533 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 20,011 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 522 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and 2 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on July 27, the National Health Commission had received reports of 229,185 confirmed cases and 5,226 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 222,163 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 1,796 confirmed cases (25 cases in serious condition) and 2 suspected cases. 4,610,240 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 129,307 were still under medical observation.

On July 27, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 507 new asymptomatic cases (72 imported cases; 435 indigenous cases, 207 in Gansu province, 131 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 49 in Shandong province, 13 in Sichuan province, 11 in Shanghai municipality, 8 in Guangdong province, 5 in Henan province, 3 in Tianjin municipality, 3 in Anhui province, 2 in Jiangxi province, 2 in Hubei province and 1 in Jiangsu province).

On July 27, 494 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (46 imported cases; 448 indigenous cases, 113 in Henan province, 100 in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, 83 in Gansu province, 55 in Anhui province, 19 in Shandong province, 18 in Tianjin municipality, 17 in Shanghai municipality, 11 in Guangdong province, 10 in Fujian province, 9 in Zhejiang province, 9 in Jiangxi province, 3 in Jiangsu province and 1 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region). 43 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 2 imported cases). As of 24:00 on July 27, 7,167 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 546 imported cases).

As of 24:00 on July 27, 4,851,956 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 352,752 in Hong Kong (9,488 had died and 67,090 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 788 in Macao (6 had died and 560 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 4,498,416 in Taiwan (8,714 had died and 13,742 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
