Xianghai Nature Reserve, a national 4-A scenic spot and an A-level nature reserve "with international significance" in Tongyu county of Jilin province, is renowned at home and abroad for its unique charm.

A series of aerial photos showed Mongolian elms, sparkling waters, windblown reeds and flying birds in the reserve — picturesque summer scenes of natural harmony.

With the implementation of large-scale water conservancy projects in recent years and the effectiveness of ecological and environmental protection, the reserve has made great progress and increased its biodiversity.
