The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will become a new tourism landmark promoting China, as well as integrating new tourism models like study tours, conventions, and exhibitions.

Preliminary work for the trial operation of HZMB's tourism development project has now started, during which the current basic infrastructure and temporary tourism inspection facilities will be completed to ensure that the project can start by the end of 2022.

A second stage has been planned, which encompasses HZMB's official tourism development operation. Inspection and tourism facilities at HZMB Zhuhai Port and Blue Dolphin Island will be optimized, while channels will be provided for Hong Kong and Macao tourism entities to join HZMB's tourism development.

It is expected that HZMB's tourism development will contribute to deeper cooperation between cities alongside the Maritime Silk Road and in ASEAN countries in the sectors of tourism promotion, marketing, as well as tourism e-commerce. In addition, these cities will also cooperate in tourist resource sharing and tourism visa facilitation, striving to turn the bridge into a demonstration zone of tourism cooperation under the Belt & Road Initiative.

A "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Integrated Tourism" brand will be established, as well as a coordinated mechanism to deepen economic integration in the Greater Bay Area.

Jiuzhou Holdings Group has begun development and upgrading of marine tourism sightseeing products featuring the HZMB since 2017, which have welcomed more than 2 million tourists with a record of 1.02 million visitors in 2019.

In addition, a new tourism project starting from HZMB Zhuhai Port to Blue Dolphin Island will be opened to accelerate the HZMB's tourism development.
