The Xin’an school of Chinese painting emerged and developed during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties. The Datong Museum in Shanxi province unveiled on June 25 a rare exhibit of 86 Xin’an school paintings. The exhibit will run until July 31.
