Haval Big Dog's Hunting version hits market

Haval, China's most popular SUV brand, launched the Hunting version of its Big Dog SUV, on Monday.

The model is available in three variants, priced from 148,900 yuan to 167,900 yuan.

One of them sports the 1.5-liter GDTI engine that generates a top torque of 275 Nm and a maximum output of 169 horsepower.

The other two variants feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine whose top torque reaches 325 Nm and maximum output hits 211 horsepower.

Compared with its predecessors, the Hunting variants have two more driving modes, bringing the total to eight.

Based on the smart V3 platform, the Hunting series are capable of such things as voice command and firmware update over the air.

They are also equipped with latest cutting-edge functions as facial recognition as well as driver fatigue warning. With a touch on the phone, the driver can control the Hunting version's parking.
