Prevailing in northern China, the Pingju Opera is one of the five major traditional Chinese operas and was listed on the national intangible heritage list in 2006. Flower Is a Matchmaker, a classical piece of this art, will take to the stage at the Dezhou Grand Theater in Dezhou, Shandong province, on Sept 10. Audiences will enjoy this complicated love story with a happy ending.
