Changan Ford launches new Mondeo

Sino-US joint venture Changan Ford launched the new Mondeo sedan on Wednesday.
The model, available in four variants, is priced from 159,800 yuan to 216,800 yuan.
The new Mondeo has a sportier design compared with its predecessor, cutting its air drag to 0.293 Cd.
The EcoBoost 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and the 8-speed automatic transmission come as standard across all four variants. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/hour in 6.5 seconds.
The model is 4,935 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width and 1,500 mm in height, with its wheelbase extending for as long as 2,945 mm.
In terms of smart functions, the vehicle is capable of over-the-air update. It has a 1.1-meter screen, and the smart SYNC+ 2.0 system. The Co-Pilot360 system covers 18 ADAS functions.
The new Mondeo also features the Vehicle-to-Infrastructure function, which will enable communication between traffic lights and the vehicle.
